Moreover, the app offers hassle-free booking of parking in the airport – an important source of revenue for the airport as well as a shopping and dining guide for travellers.
The collaboration between Copenhagen Airports dates back more than 12 years with Novasa which was acquired by Shape in 2023. It has resulted in many firsts over the years, such as the first Augmented Reality application in Denmark, first Wi-Fi triangulation-based indoor navigation app in an airport, and many more.

The goal with the CPH Airport app has always been to ensure that travellers enjoy a more stress-free and smooth journey. Part of this is the Travel Planner, which is accessible when a user follows a flight. Here, the user can view all the details they need even before leaving their homes, providing wait times in security, information about passport control for non-Schengen destinations, and more.
